happy lunar new year!

Happy lunar new year everyone! This lunar cycle marks the beginning of the year of the snake. The snake gets some pretty bad rep doesn't it? C'mon, don't tell me otherwise. While it's both widely feared and misunderstood like the shark, the snake is constantly portrayed in media as scary & evil. The last 2 years of the snake haven't been fortuitous either what with the attack on the World Trade Centre and the Tiananmen Square protest. But apparently, this is the water snake's year and it is supposed to be much calmer, patient & humble. The only other animal in the chinese horoscope able to handle the snake is the monkey. Hm.. Keira should be good. She's a monkey!
